#Ad Teeth Trouble? Check out Colgate’s New Swarna Vedshakti Toothpaste

Over the last month, I’ve had the opportunity to test Colgate’s new Swarna Vedshakti Toothpaste. The product, according to the brand is advertised as follows:

“The new Colgate Swarna Vedshakti is the Perfect Sangam of age-old ayurvedic ingredients and Colgate’s oral care expertise. It is packed with the goodness of Tulsi, Clove, Neem, Honey and Amla. The result is a toothpaste that gives the entire family the oral care protection they need and tastes great too!”

Colgate’s new toothpaste has been created with Ayurvedic expertise and is packed with herbs like neem, tulsi, amla and clove. The brand promised great taste, and if you like the taste of clove, you’ll definitely enjoy the taste of Colgate’s new Swarna Vedshakti.

Neem, tulsi, amla, aloe vera and cloves have been a part of ancient Ayurvedic wisdom for countless years, and combined with the modern science & dental expertise that Colgate is famous for, the end result is “the perfect sangam of Ved & Vigyaan”.

Now if you’ve been following me on twitter for a while (if you aren’t, what are you waiting for?), you’d know that I’d had a slew of dental procedures this year – four root canals, three fillings and four wisdom teeth removal to be exact. As a result, I’ve been a lot more interested and aware of the dental hygiene products I am using because I don’t want to experience the excruciating tooth pain that I had to go through and I definitely don’t want to spend hours together at the dentists’ clinic, undergoing procedures that are just as painful.

Okay so the whole root canal thing wasn’t as bad as I thought. Will reserve verdict till the anaesthesia wears off.

Naturally, I’ve been quite diligent with my teeth this year. The sleepless nights I spent chewing cloves to alleviate my tooth aches (could be a reason why I’m biased towards this toothpaste!), the numerous dental procedures and the time I spent recuperating proved to be a rather expensive lesson in the importance of preventive dental care. I follow a dental routine twice a day, and I take care to read & know the ingredients that make my toothpaste & mouthwash, and although I’m wary of chemicals, I know the importance that certain compounds have when it comes to dental care. It makes me extra happy that I can now have the best of both worlds. If you’re on the lookout for dental care with Ayurvedic expertise, then look no further than Colgate’s New Swarna Vedshakti.

{the product was given to me for review but the opinions are all mine}
