One of my resolutions for 2018 was to make my period as eco-friendly as possible. It took about 9 months for my period to return post-baby and I had initially purchased the Eco-Femme Cloth Pads (which were a great alternative to regular pads) but it wasn’t long before I was informed about the sustainable period miracle that is the menstrual cup. I got a lot of recommendations for the Boondh Cup, which I ended up purchasing. It took me a few months to figure it out so I thought I’d share my thoughts here.
Over the last month, I’ve had the opportunity to test Colgate’s new Swarna Vedshakti Toothpaste. The product, according to the brand is advertised as follows:
“The new Colgate Swarna Vedshakti is the Perfect Sangam of age-old ayurvedic ingredients and Colgate’s oral care expertise. It is packed with the goodness of Tulsi, Clove, Neem, Honey and Amla. The result is a toothpaste that gives the entire family the oral care protection they need and tastes great too!”
The texture of skin had changed completely after I gave birth to my baby in January. I had grown up with completely oily skin, but after delivery, it had become dry. As if the dry patches weren’t fun enough, I developed cystic acne as well. I’d never really paid attention to skin care all these years, and it showed because I had no clue what to do (apart from being depressed). I did a bit of research and concluded that I needed a routine – something that wasn’t very complicated, and at the same time, ensured that my skin got the care that was required.
